This introductory course provides essential awareness for anyone working in or around explosive atmospheres, common in sectors like oil and gas, chemical processing, manufacturing, and utilities.

No electrical expertise needed.  Whether you're entering a site, supporting logistics, or working near hazardous zones, this course equips you with knowledge to stay safe and compliant.

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

- Anyone entering or supporting operations in potentially explosive environments
- Non-technical personnel such as drivers, administrators, or support staff
- New starters or those seeking a safety-focus refresher

 COURSE CONTENT

Even simple tasks can become dangerous without the right knowledge.  This course builds essential awareness to help prevent incidents caused by:

- Using incorrect tools
- Unknowingly entering restricted zones
- Failing to follow safety protocols

By the end of this course, participants will be able to :

- Identify hazardous areas
- Work safely in explosive atmospheres
- Demonstrate behaviours that support a safety conscious culture

Completing this course also provides a foundation for further learning through CompEx modules like ExF or ExF+
