What other people have said
Don't just take our word for it though. Read what previous attendees have said:
"I asked my son what he took from the day and he said that he was pleased to learn how to use the calipers properly and to understand how the allowance on measurements worked. The day as a whole had a positive impact on him." Bens Mum
"Thank you so much for a great day experiencing the different trades you have available there. I really enjoyed seeing it first hand and being able to get a feel for everything. I especially enjoyed the CAD taster, and the electrical board taster, the electrical apprentices were very helpful and encouraging." Henry, Year 11.
"My son came along, and although he knew that he wanted to do something in engineering, he was unsure in what area. This inspired him to apply for an engineering apprenticeship! It was a great day of discovery!" Toms Mum
"The 'Taster Day' was a great opener for anyone interested in a career in engineering. My son thoroughly enjoyed the day, and realises that he quite liked the electrical installation part of it" Year 11 Mum, Noadswood School
