We are an Ofsted Grade 2 Training Provider based in Southampton, and have been providing Engineering Apprenticeships and Training for over 50 years. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide first class service to our broad range of customers in industries including engineering, transport, energy & power, defence, construction, marine & shipping. We pride ourselves in our heritage and have been serving our customers since 1969.

We are looking for a multi-skilled Electrical Engineer with a high level of industry experience who would like to move into training and pass on their knowledge and experience.  Knowledge of Electronics/PLC would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will work with our existing instructor team delivering high quality training to apprentices and commercial customers as required.

SETA is seeking to appoint a Work Based Mentor/Assessor to cover Electrical Engineering (inc installation, Commissioning & Maintenance)

This role will be to support, monitor and visit apprentices and commercial customers, train and assess in the workplace and effectively participate in and comply with all aspects of Awarding Organisation and SETA Quality Assurance processes. The role is full time and involves travelling to employer premises, working with apprentices to identify strengths and weaknesses, setting & monitoring targets and developing candidates to achieve end assessment. This requires planning and scheduling visits to employers to maximise candidate assessment opportunities and to provide ongoing support and feedback to employers.

SETA is looking to recruit a full time Apprenticeship Services Administrator to support this busy Dept. This role will be based in our Apprenticeship Centre at Millbrook.

Key aspects of the role will be focusing on apprenticeship recruitment, liaising with employers about their apprenticeship requirements, supporting the Apprenticeships Services Manager with all aspects of administration , good IT skills are essential!, attending forums, seminars & training courses as required, knowledge of apprenticeships advantageous.
