Amendment No.3 came into effect on the 1st July 2015. All new installations must comply with Amendment No.3 to BS 7671:2008. Potentially life-saving changes came into play making this a vital update.
Working towards the full City + Guilds 2382 certification, all candidates are required to complete the full course, as no updates are available.
There are eight units that make up the course relating to Parts 1-7 and the Appendices of BS 7671:2008:

- Assessment of general characteristics
- Protection for safety
- Selection and erection of equipment
- Inspection and testing
- Electromagnetic Disturbance
- Surge Protection
- Medical locations
- Operating and Maintenance Gangways
Four day course with an online multiple choice assessment taking place on day five

'IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition' (Essential) £75
'On-Site Guide' (Essential) £20 - Please note that the Onsite Guide is not allowed into the exam.
This will be the last 17th Edition Course delivered as the 18th edition is due to be released in 2018."
